At Mount Sinai, the CIMAC exists as a consortium of exceptional immunologists, technologists, clinicians, computational biologists, data specialists, and biostatisticians which uniquely positions the group to generate immune profiling datasets at an unprecedented level of granularity. The CIMAC works closely with the NRG, Alliance and ABTC trial networks to extract valuable immunology characteristics from trial data sets. This group capitalizes on their specialities in CYTOF mass cytometry phenotyping, Multiplex ImmunohistoChemical Staining on a Single Slide (MICSSS), serology, soluble analytes (O-link), seromics and microbiome composition. Using cutting-edge biological assay protocols and computational methods from the Precision Immunology Institute and the Tisch Cancer Institute at Icahn School of Medicine, the Mt. Sinai CIMAC provides exceptional integration of data and automated analyses pipelines.
Sacha Gnjatic, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Hematology and Medical Oncology as well as Oncological Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is also Associate Director of Mount Sinai’s Human Immune Monitoring Center. He focuses on the investigation of serological and cellular immune responses against tumor antigens using state-of-the-art T cell methods and large scale seromic profiling.
